Music makes me happy. Singing brings me joy. Drawing & painting calm me. Theatre stretches my mind. Other artists' work expand my vision. Dancing is just fun. Working with clay reveals what's possible....
All of these feelings and experiences are available to me and you at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts (the HCA). This is why I am such a fan of this gem of an arts center in my proverbial backyard.
For all of these reasons, I am running the Wicked 5K in support of the HCA. Any donation helps the Center grow and continue to thrive. Any donation also makes the arts affordable and accessible to all! No donation is too small. To up the ante and the impact of your gift, if I hit my goal of $750, I will add another $250 to make your dollars and mine contribute an even $1000 to the arts!
The race happens on Halloween morning. How fun is that?!?! As an added bonus, the biggest donor to my fundraising page will get to pick what costume I wear while running.
