You have the power to transform our situation! We need your help!

Dear HCA supporters and friends,

In times of uncertainty, artists offer clarity.
In times of anxiety, artists see innovation.
In times of struggle, artists create opportunity.
In times of need, YOU make the difference.

Even though our studio and performance spaces are temporarily closed, we hope you are still creating and thriving. Please know the HCA faculty and staff is working hard to offer the same exceptional classes you have come to know and trust - in new ways, through new technology.

The HCA remains fiscally strong but faces a $40,000 budget shortfall from the inability to offer live events, performances, and classes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The livelihood of our staff and community of artist-instructors depend on the HCA. We invite you to consider a gift of support. Please be as generous as feels comfortable during this time. ALL gifts matter and are appreciated!

We recognize that many of you have been hit hard financially by the crisis or have a level of uncertainty about the future. Please be assured that we are here for you and that we offer need-based scholarships for students so that no person is denied an arts education.

Again, thank you for your kind consideration of a gift and please continue to experience the calming and healing power of art during this time. Know that the Center's doors will be welcoming you home soon.

Gratefully,

Kelly Grill & Kris Waldman

Co-Directors

P.S. Did you know?

The new stimulus bill includes changes to charitable giving, which could allow for greater benefits from the donation you make today! A measure in the federal coronavirus relief bill grants taxpayers an above-the-line deduction for up to $300 in charitable donations starting in 2020.
